Shakespeare Theater in Montgomery
The Academy organizes group visits to companies, nonprofits, and public agencies where the careers that students are learning about are actually carried out.
Even during COVID, our students visited:
- Two organic farms, to learn about environmental sciences and the way in which science affects the food we eat
- Shakespeare Theater in Montgomery, to experience the fine arts, and understand all of the jobs and careers that make a fine arts center the heart of a community
- Vaughan Regional Medical Center, to meet with 10 physicians and health care specialists from a variety of service areas
- Hyundai manufacturing plant, to see how robotics and engineering come together to create efficiency in manufacturing
As well a variety of local businesses and entrepreneurs to understand the opportunities for creativity and success right at home.
