ACT Preparation
The Edmundite Missions Academy provides its students with extensive preparation for the ACT college entrance test. This includes skills improvement in math and reading through regular review and exercises. Faculty use the digital platform Magoosh which is focused on test preparation.
Prior to taking the ACT test, The Missions Academy offers an ACT Boot Camp on three successive Saturdays to intensely practice test taking.

The Missions Academy assists students in registering for the ACT and pays for ACT test fees.
Students in 9th and 10th grade are required to take the ACT at least once per year during their time at The Missions Academy. Students in the 7th and 8th grades are offered the opportunity.
In all, Academy students will have had the chance to take the ACT at least four times before they begin serious test taking in the 11th grade. This experience both improves their math and reading skills, but also “de-mystifies” ACT test taking and improves scores through familiarity with the testing process.
